This Standard is not intended to be solely for the builder, but is also intended to provide guidance for other associated trades.The recommendations relate to the safety of persons when entering and leaving the work area while the erection of building steelwork is taking place. They also relate to the safety of other persons in the vicinity, whether working or not, who may be endangered by the action of those working on the erection of building steelwork.
