This Standard sets out requirements for thermoplastic road marking materials that are applied by spray, screed or are extruded. The requirements are primarily performance based and are assessed on road surfaces of dense grade asphalt or Grade 3 chipseal.NOTES:1 Alternative means for demonstrating compliance with this Standard are given in Appendix A.2 Appendix B provides guidance on the use and application of thermoplastic road marking materials.3 The three types of thermoplastic road marking material considered by this Standard are classified by their method of application as:Grade I Spray Grade II Extruded Grade III Screed
