This Standard specifies particular safety requirements for slides intended for permanent installation for use by children.The requirements of this Standard apply in addition to the general requirements for playground equipment set out in AS 4685.1.This Standard is not applicable to waterslides, bobsleds, rollerways or slide installations where auxiliary equipment such as mats or sleds are used.
