    This Standard specifies particular safety requirements for runways (including flying foxes) intended for permanent installation for use by children. This Standard is applicable to runways where children travel on or along a cable by the use of gravity. The requirements of this Standard apply in addition to the general requirements for playground equipment set out in AS 4685.1.
