Prescribes safety requirements for electric fuses, installed for the purpose of providing over-current protection required under Part 1 of the SAA Wiring Rules, and intended for use in electrical circuits at low or medium voltage. It does not apply to cartridge fuses, rated up to 5 amperes, for use in plugs, plug socket adaptors or the like.
