This specification applies to fixed carbon composition resistors (Type II - Normal stability), having a rated dissipation not exceeding 2 watts and a rated resistance value between 10 ohms and 22 megohms, and intended for use in telecommunication equipment and allied electronic devices employing similar techniques. The tests specified in This Standard are intended as type tests.
