This code applies to electrical installations in caravans and caravan trailers intended for connection to low voltage supply systems (normally exceeding 32 volts a.c. but not exceeding 250 voltolts a.c.), and to electrical installations in caravan parks providing facilities for such connection. This code does not apply to transportable sheds and like temporary premises or structures (e.g. old tramcars, buses, caravans, etc. rendered immobile by removal of wheels), which constitute fixed premises and shall be treated as such in accordance with Part 1 of the SAA Wiring Rules.
