This specification applies to the supply, primarily on the basis of performance, of oil-base paint for exterior finishing. The paint is normally intended for use as a finishing paint in painting systems incorporating the following materials: oil-base wood primer (performance basis); and oil-base undercoating paint (performance basis). It may, by agreement between the purchaser and vendor, be used with othe materials such as: oil-base wood primer (composition basis); and oil-base undercoating paint (composition basis).
