This method is intended for assessing the resistance of the colour of textiles in all forms to the action of soap solution containing active oxygen, as used in laundering at temperatures near boiling point. It is applicable only to those fibres which are capable of withstanding the test conditions and is principally intended for natural cellulosic fibres.
