This Standard has been revised to include formulae for the calculation of CIELAB values from measured tristimulus values. The revision also includes additional background information on colour measurement, restricts the illuminants to CIE illuminants D(sub)65(/sub) or C, clarifies the calibration requirements and adds a new reference which gives basic information about colour and its measurement.
