This Standard sets out requirements for the regular maintenance of fire extinguishing systems utilizing SOYUZ pyrogenically generated fire extinguishing aerosols, designed and installed in accordance with AS/NZS 4487. Regular maintenance includes inspection and testing. The Pyrogen fire extinguishing aerosol shall be referred to as the 'extinguishant' in this Standard.NOTE: A Pyrogen fire extinguishing aerosol system is generally referred to in this Standard as'a Pyrogen system' or 'the Pyrogen system'.
