    This Standard must be read in conjunction with AS 2053.1. The requirements of Part 1 apply except where they are added to or modified by this Standard. This Standard specifies requirements for rigid plain non-threadable conduits and fittings that are made of insulating material and are used for the protection of cables in electrical installations.
