Applies to spa-bath, spa pool and swimming pool pumps, heaters, blowers, chlorinators, chemical injection equipment, and control equipment. Does not apply to luminaires, nor to equipment for aquariums (see AS/NZS 3192) or fountains. Note: Further regulatory requirements apply; consult NZECP 2, issued by the Chief Electrical Inspector, Ministry of Commerce. Amendment 2 applies to Clauses 1, 5, 6, 19.6 and 19.8.2.
