Sets out the requirements for the installation and maintenance of car alarm systems designed in accordance with Part 1 of the Standard to ensure that the alarm system performs to the manufacturer's specification and false alarms do not occur. There are sections on installation and commissioning, and appendices on maintenance and the functional tests which should be carried out on the detection device.
