This International Standard deals with the manufacture of RADIOGRAPHIC CASSETTES and mammographic cassettes intended to be used with RADIOGRAPHIC SCREENS in medical practice.This standard does not apply to special cassettes (such as cassettes with built-in ANTI-SCATTER GRIDS, cassettes for simultaneous TOMOGRAPHY). It is provided to ensure that X-RAY EQUIPMENTcan be operated with RADIOGRAPHIC CASSETTES of different MANUFACTURERS.
