AS/NZS 4056.1:1992

Gives the nomenclature of pliers and nippers for general use in English, French and Russian. The equivalent terms in the German, Italian and Spanish languages are given in an Annex. This Standard is identical with and reproduced from ISO 5742:1982.

French and Russian), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in the German, Italian and Spanish languages (see annex); these have been included at the request of technical committee ISO/TC 29, and are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany, F.R. (DIN), Italy (UNI) and Spain (IRANOR) respectively. However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms.
