AS/NZS 4524.5:1998

Specifies dimensions for a variety of grinding wheels intended for the grinding of flat surfaces or two opposite surfaces. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO/DIS 603-5:1996.

This International Standard of ISO 603-5 lays down the nominal dimensions in millimetres of:- Type 2 - Cemented or clamped cylinder wheel- Type 37 - Cylinder wheel with inserted nuts- Type 6 - Straight cup wheel- Type 3101- Type 3104 Segments- Type 3109- Type 35 - Disc wheel, cemented or clamped- Type 36 - Disc wheel, with inserted nutsThese bonded abrasive products are intended for the grinding of flat surfaces where the workpiece is secured to a long table which moves in a straight line or for the grinding of two opposite surfaces, where the workpiece is flat between to mounted wheels. The workpiece and the grinding wheels are mechanically fed.
