AS/NZS 60335.1:2020 deals with the safety of electrical appliances for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances.AS/NZS 60335.1:2020 and its amendments, remain valid for use until all associated Part 2 standards (AS 60335.2.XX publications) that reference them have been withdrawn. As a result, no date of withdrawal has been set for AS/NZS 60335.1:2020 or its amendments. Regulatory authorities that reference this Standard in legislation or regulation may adopt or apply its requirements at different times. Users should consult the relevant regulatory authorities to confirm applicable requirements.
