AS/NZS 60335.2.12:2025 deals with the safety of electric warming plates, warming trays and similar appliances intended to keep food or vessels warm, for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery-operated appliances.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.12:2018 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 27 June 2028). During this period AS/NZS 60335.2.12:2018 will also remain current. Regulatory authorities that reference this Standard in regulation may apply these requirements at a different time. Users of this Standard should consult with these authorities to confirm their requirements.
