AS/NZS 60335.2.13:2022 deals with the safety of electric deep fat fryers having a recommended maximum quantity of oil not exceeding 5 l, frying pans, woks and other appliances in which oil is used for cooking, and intended for household use and similar use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.13:2017 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 25 November 2025). During this period AS/NZS 60335.2.13:2017 will also remain current. Regulatory authorities that reference this Standard in regulation may apply these requirements at a different time. Users of this Standard should consult with these authorities to confirm their requirements.
