This Standard deals with the safety of appliances for skin exposure to ultraviolet or infrared radiation, intended for normal household as well as tanning salon and beauty parlor use. Appliance rated voltage being not more than 250 volt single phase and 480 volt for other appliances. Amendment 1 applies to the Contents, Foreword, Clauses 3, 6.101, 7.1, 7.6, 7.12, 7.14, 21, 22, 32, Figure 101, Annex BB and the Bibliography.
