AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2020 deals with the safety of electric range hoods and other cooking fume extractors intended for installing above, beside, behind or under household cooking ranges, hobs and similar cooking appliances, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2013 two years from the date of publication (i.e. on 27 November 2022). During this period AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2013 will also remain current. Regulatory authorities that reference this Standard in regulation may apply these requirements at a different time. Users of this Standard should consult with these authorities to confirm their requirements.
