AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2024 deals with the safety of electric range hoods and other cooking fume extractors intended for installing above, beside, behind or under household cooking ranges, hobs and similar cooking appliances, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V including direct current (DC) supplied appliances.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2020 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 13 December 2027). During this period AS/NZS 60335.2.31:2020 will also remain current. Regulatory authorities that reference this Standard in regulation may apply these requirements at a different time. Users of this Standard should consult with these authorities to confirm their requirements.
