This International Standard deals with the safety of electric sauna heating appliances and infrared emitting units having a rated power input not exceeding 20 kW, their rated voltage being not more than 250 volt for single-phase appliances and 480 volt for other appliances.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.53:2006 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 28 October 2014).
