AS/NZS IEC 60335.2.83:2025 deals with the safety of electrically heated gullies for de-icing the inlet of the drainage system of flat roofs, balconies, and similar structures, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery-operated appliances. This Standard supersedes AS/NZS 60335.2.83:2002 on 27 November 2020.
