This Standard provides the requirements for a Qualification Specification that can either be supplied by the purchaser of the component or plant designer at the time that the componentisspecified, or it can besupplied to the specifierby amanufacturer that has prequalified the component so that the plant designer can ensure that the required conditions in the facility are enveloped by the manufacturer’s qualification.
