Determines end product data on drawings for mechanical springs which is defined as an elastic body whose mechanical function is to store energy when deflected by a force and to return the equivalent amount of energy upon being released. The types of springs described here are compression - helical, cylindrical, volute, coned disk (Belleville) extension - helical torsion - helical, torsion bar, spiral flat - cantilever constant force - flat and garter - helical.
