1.1This specification covers bare round 21 % conductivity copper-clad steel wire for the center conductor in tracer wire, also known as locating wire.
1.2Two grades of copper-clad steel wire are covered as follows:
1.2.121EHS: Nominal 21 % Conductivity Extra High Strength
1.2.221EHS-A: Nominal 21 % Conductivity Extra High Strength-Annealed
1.3The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.
