This specification covers the requirements for rod in diameters from 1/4 to 13/8 in. (6.4 to 35 mm) produced from high conductivity coppers listed in Table 1, namely, electrolytic tough-pitch, oxygen-free, or fire-refined high conductivity coppers, and are suitable for further fabrication into electrical conductors.

1.1This specification covers the requirements for rod in diameters from 1/4to 13/8in.
