1.1The terminology defined in this document is associated with nondestructive assay of nuclear material.
1.2All of the definitions are associated with measurement techniques that measure nuclear emissions (that is, neutrons, gamma-rays, or heat) directly or indirectly.
1.3Definitions are relevant to any standards and guides written by subcommittee C26.10.
1.4This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
