CONTAINED IN VOL 06.03, 2001 Determines total rosin acids content of rosin esters, varnishes, and alkyd resins, unmodified by materials like maleic or fumaric acid, or phenols. Includes free, esterified and metallic salts of rosin.

1.1 This test method covers the determination of the rosin acids content of rosin, unmodified by such materials as maleic or fumaric acid, or phenols. Rosin acids determined by this test method include free rosin.
