    CONTAINED IN VOL 10.02, 2001 Provides means of determining the flow rate and tap density of granular, electrical grade, magnesium oxide. This specification may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment but does not purport to address all the safety problems associated with its use.

    1.1 This test method covers the determination of the flow rate and the tap density which predicts the fill rate and flow rate of granular electrical grade magnesium oxide used in the manufacturing of sheathed heating elements.

    1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
