1.1This specification covers the requirements for continuous glass filament sewing thread; and continuous filament cord, untreated and neoprene treated.
1.2This specification is intended to assist ultimate users by designating the types of these products that are typical in the industry.
1.3The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems will result in nonconformance with the standard.
