CONTAINED IN VOL. 08.03 1999 Describes a procedure for determination of the Izod impact strength of plastics under specific conditions. Gives a number of types of specimen and test configurations. Defines different test parameters in accordance with the material, test specimen and notch type. Suitable for investigation of the behavior of defined specimen types under specified impact conditions, and estimation of specimen brittleness or toughness within test condition limitations.
