1.1This test method covers the relative resistance to vented water-tree growth in solid translucent thermoplastic or cross-linked electrical insulating materials. This test method is especially applicable to extruded polymeric insulation materials used in medium-voltage cables.
1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
