1.1This test method provides a procedure for determination of the workability of asphalt cold mix patching materials.

1.2This test method is applicable to asphalt cold mix patching materials that will be stockpiled or packaged in containers, subjected to different climatic conditions, and later used for roadway patching operations.

1.3The within-laboratory repeatability standard deviation has been determined to be 10 % based on one lab, three test replicates, and two different samples. Therefore, this test method should not be used for purchasing purposes.

1.4The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.

1.5The text of this standard references notes and footnotes which provide explanatory material. These notes and footnotes (excluding those in tables and figures) shall not be considered as requirements of the standard.
