1.1This practice is intended to cover the extraction, analysis, and information management pertaining to visible wear debris collected from oil system filters or debris retention screens. Further, it is intended that this practice be a practical reference for those involved in FDA.
1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
