1.1 This test method covers the determination of compressive properties of flexible cellular materials during compressive loading and unloading at a uniform rate.
1.2This test method is applicable to open- or closed-cell materials made from expanded synthetic or non-synthetic polymers.
Note 1:There is no equivalent ISO standard available.
1.3Units—The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.
