1.1This test method covers the analysis of refined gold for the following elements having the following chemical composition limits:
| Element | Content Range, µg/g |
| Copper | 17 to 300 |
| Iron | 6 to 150 |
| Lead | 17 to 100 |
| Palladium | 7 to 350 |
| Silver | 17 to 500 |
