1.2This practice establishes procedures to inspect products and systems, including methods for field verification and inspection.

1.3This practice addresses different types of board and wrap type materials used to establish fire resistive ratings for beams, columns, and decking in buildings.

1.4This practice provides an inspector and inspection body various methods to verify that required materials have been installed in accordance with the inspection document.
