1.1This practice is intended to be a compendium of commonly referenced calculations used in completing acoustical measurements in accordance with ASTM standards and guides.

1.1.1The practice in its current iteration includes only the procedure for the calculation of adjusted average level based on measured background noise level.

1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
