1.1This guide provides:
1.1.1Awareness of powder quality issues associated with the adsorption and desorption of moisture and the reaction of moisture with metallic powders,
1.1.2Implications associated with the exposure of metallic powder feedstocks to humidity,
1.1.3Guidelines to evaluate the effect of humidity and moisture on AM metallic powder feedstocks,
1.1.4Guidelines to control the effect of moisture and ensure the quality of the powder feedstock and printed components.
