1.1This practice covers minimum requirements for the design and manufacture of combustion turbine engines for light sport category aircraft, visual flight rules (VFR) or instrument flight rules (IFR) into instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) (no known icing) use.
1.2Units—The values given in this standard are in SI units and are to be regarded as standard. Any values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to inch-pound (or other) units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents.
