This Australian Technical Specification sets out requirements for macro-composite pipes and associated fittings, generally used for the conveyance of water, in sizes ranging from DN 16 to DN 40. The macro-composite pipes covered consist of an aluminium core encapsulated in and bonded to an inner layer of cross-linked polyethylene and an outer layer of polyethylene. This Australian Technical Specification should be read in conjunction with AS 4176.
