This standard covers cast iron and ductile iron body, rubber seated, tight closure butterfly valves, 3-72 in. in size, with various body types and body ends for maximum shutoff pressures and operating torques, and for fresh water having pH greater than 6 and temperatures generally less than 125°F (52°C).
