Major revisions made to the standard in this revision include the following: definitions for design and operating head have been added (Sec. 3); material requirements for stem couplings and thrust nut and gate-actuator lift nuts have been added (Sec. 4.3.3.6 and 4.3.3.7); Sec. 4.4.11 Stems and Stem Couplings has been revised; Sec. 4.4.14 Manual Lifting Devices has been revised; and, Sec. 4.4.15 powered lifting devices has been added.
