The major revisions to the standard in this edition include the following: the format has been changed to AWWA standard style; the acceptance clause (Sec. I.C) and the definitions of parties (Sec. 3) have been revised to approved wording; "soft" metric equivalents have been added in the text and tables; the scope of the standard has been expanded to include sizes 3/4-in. (20-mm) through 20-in.
