Durch den Einsatz geräuschgeminderter Druckluftdüsen kann der Schallpegel gegenüber herkömmlichen runden oder ovalen Einlochdüsen deutlich vermindert werden. Für Blaskräfte von 1 N bis 15 N lassen sich mit geräuschmindernden Düsen Pegelminderungen von 8 dB(A) bis 15 dB(A) und für Volumenströme von 20 m[3]/h bis 150 m[3]/h Pegelminderungen von 18 dB(A) bis 27 dB(A) bei optimaler Düsenauswahl erzielen [1].
