Defines the performance requirements for self-ballasted LED lamps with a d.c. supplies up to 250 V or a.c. supplies up to 1000 V at 50 Hz, together with the test methods and conditions, required to show compliance with this standard, intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, having: a) a rated wattage up to 60 W; b) a rated d.c. supplies up to 250 V or a.c. supplies up to 1000 V at 50 Hz; and c) a lamp cap according to IS 16102 (Part 1): 2012 'Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting services: Part 1 Safety requirements'.
