This British Standard covers steel spring washers of helical construction and of the following types intended for automobile and general engineering purposes:— Single coil square section. Single coil rectangular section. Single coil girder section. Double coil. Washers supplied in accordance with this specification shall be for right-hand threads, unless otherwise specified by the Purchaser.
